Limits & Limitations
What's the difference, you ask, between limits and limitations? Aren't they one and the same (thing)? Well, no. Not in my view and not in the spiritual context.
It’s important to understand this difference, as assigning the same meaning to these two concepts affects your life in a negative way. Why? Because it allows you to get away with not achieving your full potential (or not achieving anything at all).
We use this one meaning as an excuse why we can’t do something.
We say: there are limits to what I can do. While this may be true within the laws of physics, human biology and the Law of the Land, it is not the case in terms of our potential or the opportunities and options we can pursue to change something in our life. The correct word and meaning that applies here is limitations.
As I said in my guided meditation - There are no limits in the Universe - only limitations.
Another useful phrase supporting this premise is we don't know what we don't know. Kind of mind twisting, right? Yet it reflects precisely the limitlessness of The Creation.
The quantum field of all potentials is by its very nature limitless. Meaning: anything is possible to manifest, if you know how. In practical terms - our intention, focus and effort (action) we put into something we want to achieve or have, can manifest the results we want. Note this little, tiny qualifier: if you know how. Conclusion? It ain’t easy, but can be done.
In spiritual terms, it reminds us that we are consciousness with no beginning and no end, temporarily focused on the life experience in the body we now occupy.
Limitations are mental constructs we impose on ourselves out of fear of failure or success, out of feeling unworthy, or not good enough. Or simply out of laziness or ignorance, let’s be honest.
When you free yourself from the limitations of your mind - why you can't do, aim for or achieve something - you will experience a limitless destiny unfolding under your feet with opportunities, synchronicities and miracles you never knew existed.
To illustrate my point, let me give you a striking example of a lucrative entrepreneurial ingenuity that saw no boundaries to what can be done.
You would probably have never thought that you can buy an alien abduction insurance. After all, there are limits to what can be insured, right?....
Well, for just $19.95 you can purchase an alien abduction insurance from the Saint Lawrence Agency in Altamonte Springs, Florida. This clever company has sold well over 6,000 policies to date, all for $10 million worth of coverage, according to Miami Herald.
But wait, there is more! A brilliant catch. In order to lodge a claim for alien abduction, you'll have to make your way back to Earth (somehow). And not just that - you will also need to provide a signature of an authorised, on-board alien confirming your abduction.
A Nobel Prize for ingenuity. And it works!
Think big, with no limitations, like a soul in the limitless Universe that you are, and miracles will start flowing into your life with ease (some very lucrative, at that).
